Waterfront Inn Mackinaw City

Rooms where beautifully done in wood. Expected from reviews that lodging would be underpar, but wonderfully delighted with the rooms and the view. I have no idea what the ground level rooms are like. Initially reserved king room but was upgraded at no additional charge to their 3rd floor suits. Wonderful staff.

We stayed in the family suite. We were a little disappointed this room was not directly on the beach however we were not in the room too much. The room slept five of us comfortably, the beds were comfortable and it was just a very short walk to the beach. The rooms were a little outdated.

The waterfront cabin was amazing! We loved having a full kitchen, fire pit, and grill. The covered porch overlooking Lake Huron was also wonderful.

The view from our balcony was absolutely gorgeous and it was right down the road from the ferry. Staff was very friendly, room was clean and spacious.
